MTS is one of the family companies owned by Miami Nation Enterprises, the economic arm of the Miami Tribe. The Miami Tribe – known as kiiloona myaamiaki – is a tribe of Algonquin origin, originally inhabiting the regions near Lake Huron and Lake Michigan, and southward into present-day Indiana and Ohio. The Miami Tribe is now based in our town of the same name, Miami OK. MTS is an SBA approved tribally-owned 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business.
